My partner and I were trying for around a year before falling pregnant with my angel baby who we lost at 14 weeks. We are now on our 3rd cycle of trying again and despite tracking ovulation to a tee we’ve had no luck. I know it’s out of our hands but is there anything people have tried? Fertility lubricant, certain positions, sex every 2 days throughout cycle (rather than just fertile window) I’ve heard can help, but does anyone have any success stories?

I think I just need some hope at this point 😔 I know so many women struggle and we are still early days but I came on my period today and feeling so down about it all.

I always made sure I was on the bottom at fertile times ( but he never knew that) and I’d slip a pillow under my bum after to keep the good stuff in there as long as possible. Keep going 🤞🏻

Legs up afterwards as well for at least 15 mins

@nora91 sorry to hear AF has raised their ugly head, being so desperate for something and it not happening is so deflating. We’re currently using Preseed, I’ve heard good reviews and apparently it helps with conception? We will see!

@worldwidetravel2017 @BritishDesiGirl are we talking legs up in the air or legs just raised here 🤣

Taking fertility support vitamins and using the CB ovulation kit worked for us on the second cycle. Also waiting 15 mins after sex before getting up.

Thank you ♥️ it’s soul destroying! Let me know how you get on with preseed!

We always had sex every two days throughout the month to make sure we didn't miss the fertile days! Appreciate this might not be appealing after many months of trying...

Legs up in the air afterwards is something we used both times to conceive and it worked well for us. Last pregnancy we used Conceive Plus gel and got pregnant the first month of using it.
This time I'm using it again & also taking the Conceive Plus birth control detox pills...I have been on the mini pill for over 3 years so thought this might help get my cycle back to normal. Too early to tell if it has worked though.

Oh and the dtd every 2 days is something we did as well. I have read a few articles online suggesting that this helps.

Have had two miscarriages in the last year. Bum under pillow works for us, I also prefer sex at bedtime because even after 15 minutes bums up, I can feel it trickling out of me if I walk around, so better to be horizontal for a few hours after.

Saw an obgyn this week for a cervical smear and discussed my miscarriages and he recommended baby aspirin. He said it wouldn't do any harm in any case, I did some googling and there's a paper from 2021 that supports taking baby aspirin at least four days a week to aid conception (contrary to previous research which showed mixed results). He advised two tablets a day but I'm starting with one (81mg). So we're trying that this month...

Proceive tablets have good reviews. Just a heads up regarding aspirin/baby aspirin, please talk to your doctor before taking it. Aspirin tends to reduce blood clotting function in some people with thrombocytopenia/low platelets. Sending you all lovely baby vibes.

Tracking ovulation seems to have been the key for us and just making sure we dtd at the right time.
DC1 was conceived after 16 months NTNP followed by 3 months of tracking, preseed, vitamins and laying down for 10 mins after dtd.
We tried doing all of the above for 3 months this time around but actually conceived on cycle 4 when, due to being away with family, we did not give it so much thought (I still knew when I ovulated), used no preseed, drank way too much coffee and wine, and actually dtd less over that period than we would have done at home. Honestly I’m not sure how much any of these things have any influence but tracking ovulation and staying lay down for at least 10 mins after sex are what I will be sticking to if we ever try for a third! Fingers crossed it happens soon for you, the waiting game is so difficult.
