I am trying to conceive with my partner. We both have children from previous relationships.

I’ve had 4 c sections the last one being almost 5 years ago.

I am now 33 and desperate to have one last baby and been trying for 4 months now.

I’ve always fallen pregnant really easily before but it’s not happening. I know for some people that might not seem like long but I already feel like it’s taking forever and that time isn’t on my side.

My partner does find it difficult to ejaculate during sex and will after put it back inside me again he has (I cringed writing this) 😂 I’m thinking this could be the reason but he doesn’t think so.

I’ve been taking ovulation tests and I am ovulating.

Anyone else going through a similar experience?

Yes that's unlikely to work OP, you're not 16.

Have you considered IUI? Might be best in those circumstances

@YukoandHiro what do you mean by you’re not 16 it’s an embarrassing enough situation as it it without comments like that!

@Tigger1116 I haven’t but thank you for the suggestion.

We done home insemination as my DH found it hard to finish due to pressure.
We fell preg 3rd/4th cycle can't actually remember which one.

I'd discuss with your doctors about the implications of a 5th c section before planning anything

IUI might be a good option, from the way your post reads, I don’t think what you’re doing now will have much success. And you do acknowledge this but up to a year is common

I think you’re right in that the ‘putting it back in’ scenario is unlikely to help much.

I can relate to the feeling of time not being on your side, I’m almost 33 and TTC my first! I hope you have some luck soon.

I agree with @Tigger1116 , there seem to be a couple of at home insemination solutions in the market.

Good luck! I think the first months of trying were harder for me, getting used to the disappointment...

Well I had a shock today. I’m actually already pregnant! The tests earlier this week were negative.

Sorry to jump on post I’ve made my own but haven’t had any replies yet. Hoping one of you see this! I’ve bought soy ivo on Amazon from a company called healthspan. The problem is I can now see that they contain 100mg soy and 40 mg isoflavones so how much would I take based on these measurements? I started yesterday day 2 of cycle without realising and took one tablet and today is day 3… really need help as I’ve already started this cycle now :/ I’ve added an image thank you
