Just an update...

Scan this morning showed a lovely HB at 6+1 which is in line with prev scan so dates were off!

Current due date 29.05.23 but of course likely to change with official dating scan because so small and hard to officially date at this point!

So relieved and hopefully all goes well!

Oh excellent!!!!
Congratulations 😍😍

Yes, it's very early to accurately date, mine took me a week + back, but I've heard that at the 12-week one most measurements catch up with the original due dates! Not that it matters though.

Such good news!

My nausea started, slightly, it's so annoying...

Yes that's what I was told first time round and again at the scan!

I really feel for you with the nausea, it's a lot.. I've been sick everyday for the past week and yesterday not even water would stay down!

It's worth it though!🤣

Hey @Nina7

How are you doing?

I had cramps and awful back pain in the week, called maternity team for advice and they booked me in for a scan Tuesday next week as concerned with potential miscarriage. My friend who works in the private clinic said I could go in this morning to check over things, free of charge as well!!

Baby is thankfully perfect, 8+1 so my dates now all match up with ovulation! Thought I was 7+4 based on my scan at 6+1... Actually looks like a baby now too.

Sickness is in full swing along with extreme tiredness and sore boobs 😮‍💨

Oh, that's great to hear these news!!
Yeah, I think the early scans are really bad in dating the baby... I'm going by ovulation dates and hopefully they'll be confirmed at the 12-week one.
I've got my first midwife appointment on Friday to book the scans, looking forward to it.

In general, I'm less enthusiastic because nausea started for me as well. Not as bad (so not being sick), but it's really annoying and I just don't feel like myself! I'm also so tired all the time, I'm so miserable I can't bear myself!!
They say it peaks on the 9th weeks so at least soon we'll be on the right side of the curve... So exhausted!

I'm very glad all was fine with the scan, it seems the cramps can be the uterus expanding... There is so much going on in there!
I'd like to have another scan to see it looking like a baby, I think I've started not believing that it's real :) :)

Hi @Nina7

hope things are going okay for you?

now going to be 18 weeks on Friday and we’re having another little boy! Still anxious but have our 20 week scan at nearly 21 weeks on 9th Jan, nervous and excited. Hope things are going well for you x
