Help ladies,

Second bubba on the way I am currently 6/7 weeks along... and the sickness has hit hard. Today I woke up and was actually sick, I have been feeling rough constantly and gagging at literally everything! (My husband said to me yesterday that I look green)

I have a 4 year old and feel like the worst mum in the world as I can hardly function at the moment and feel like I have been letting him down :(

Any helpful tips or advice to help see me thru 🙏🏼

B6 can reduce sickness 4 some - maybe ask your gp or 111 4 opinion

Ginger biccies
Mints
Caffeine free coke

With my pregnancies I used to nibble at different foods to see if I could stomach them. At one point it was only prawn cocktail crisps and donuts and toast for a week. Not the best, but it got better after that.

Yeah that's what I've been trying to do, feel like I'll be doing the same for a while as it's cheesey Doritos and Ice pops which are keeping me going haha!

Things that helped me:
Anything with ginger
Eat something in bed 15 mins before you stand up and NEVER let your stomach get empty!
Congratulations by the way!

Thank you, I've got the ginger biscuits so will give them a go! It's like I literally open my eyes in the morning in bed and can feel the sickness come on and I have to jump out and run to the loo :( Never had that with my first born! x

Don't put up with it. I've had hideous nausea in this pregnancy (28w tomorrow). Get the anti nausea meds asap would be my advice. I've been prescribed 2 lots which I alternate. You really don't have to suffer with it.

Oh no! It's absolutely horrendous isn't it? I was like that with my 1st but the 2nd wasn't quite as bad. I kept crackers and ginger biscuits on my bedside table and would nibble before sitting up because even that motion would make me vom😷I hope it doesn't last too long for you!

"Morning" sickness is a lie for many women. Ginger helps sometimes.
