Faint positives 16dpo

Have been ttc for a while now, with an ectopic in November LY (tube removed) and an early miscarriage in April. I have endometriosis too.

my last four cycles have been a 31 day cycle, but this month I think I ovulated a few days early and FLO app predicted I would start my period on Friday. This felt about right as I was convinced I’d ovulated around day 14. Took a pregnancy test Saturday morning ans I was a day late by Flo and had the faint positives in pic attached. These seem to be a slightly stronger positives that when I had my early mc in April but I had tested around 13dpo then.

so now I’m in the early hours of day 31 of my cycle just waiting and dreading AF turning up today. I haven’t tested again as want to wait 48 hours since Saturday AM as to not build my hopes up. Definitely don’t feel pregnant but had some twinges for the past few days, and had some thicker mucousy ew discharge saturday/Sunday which was a bit unusual. I am also extremely tired these past few days, but doubting that 16dpo i would be feeling this.

anyway, just wanted to see whether you guys thought the faint positives were in any way hopeful. Should I have seen stronger positives at 16dpo?
Dreading wiping and seeing blood on the tissue tomorrow. Back in April I was so happy to be pregnant and devastated when AF arrived spot on day 31.

i will test again with fmu in the morning and see if the lines are fainter.

They don’t look faint to me!

Pregnancy tests can only give a yes/no answer I’m afraid. To be sure of progression you should have your hCG levels checked twice a couple of days apart. Good luck 🤞🏻

They are both really good positives congratulations x

TheShellBeach · 11/09/2023 02:42

They're very good lines!

CockSpadget · 11/09/2023 02:47

They are not faint! They are very strong positives!

toddle19 · 11/09/2023 03:13

To add the tests are back to front 🙃 so the bottom test is actually fainter than the control line

Irrelevant, they are different brands and the ICs always had fainter lines for me. I don’t think you’ll get anyone to agree that those are faint!

Def positives, and that’s with no glasses on !

I’ve just tested, I’ve been up all night worrying.

the top test is the one I’ve just done so it’s darker than the first test I did which makes me breathe a sigh of relief.

Im going to wait another few days before I make an appt with Drs to make sure AF doesn’t arrive.

@toddle19 those look good to me. I had a MMC in April and unfortunately I've just had a chemical (as in, CB digital this morning said not pregnant after several positive tests since Thursday) - my first tests at 14/15 dpo were lighter than yours and my one at 18dpo yesterday showed no progression. Did the CB as a final check in case the internet cheapies were dodgy and because I know technically the tests aren't 'supposed' to show progression.

The tests you've posted all look great to me! I completely get feeling anxious after your previous losses but where you can, try to celebrate this moment. I have had a few days of excitement and joy from this little bean, and even though it's not meant to be, I'm glad I cleberated it's life while it was with me, even though it was only a few days 💕

Wishing you a healthy and happy pregnancy! 🌈💕😊

These don’t look faint to me - I’d say congratulations and try to relax and enjoy xx

Stronger than my line at 16dpo.

When you said faint, I was excepting squinters, these are well established and glaringly positive.

They put my faint 16dpo line to shame 😅 (just over 7 weeks now).
