Right, have been lurking on these pages for months. Am TTC. 5th month of BD'ing. Have been at it for the past 8 days. For the last 3 sessions, DH has not been able to, well, see it through to the end. I guess he feels under pressure. Anyway.......rather than miss out, he did the necessaries into a bowl and using a new and clean medisyringe, I did the deed. I am going red typing this. Didnt actually seem that terrible at the time but seeing it in print, ergh!

Thing is, has anyone actually got pg doing this or am I just a complete idiot?

I would think for someone to agree to this after only 5 months of trying, well they must really be feeling the pressure. Is he pressuring himself or are you pressuring him?

To be honest I don't think there is any need for you do do it for 8 days! Every other would be sufficient and then maybe he wouldn't feel so pressured.

Can't be good for you to be stressing yourself out so much either.

I do't get how he can 'do' it into a bowl and not through the normal way!

I always get pregnant in the months when we have sex less rather then every day.

It's very important not to get stressed out when TTC.

Yes! I'm gay and have used this method with a known donor to get pregnant twice. With DS it took 1 mth, then worked on 6th mth with this pregnancy. So it can work. Oh and we only did every other day (2-3 times per month around fertile time), so 8 days sounds a bit much, maybe you could cut down for less pressure? Good luck this month!

If you know when your fertile period is, 2-3 times a month is enough. Of course you can do it more if you want to....
