Extremely faint positives for days

Hi everyone! I wondered if anyone could please help me, if anyone’s been through similar …

I’m 18dpo, my period is 3 days late and my bbt is still over coverline. I tested at 16dpo and got a super faint positive, then tested yesterday 4 times (I know, I need to get a grip haha) and got 3 very very faint positives plus a negative digital, then I tested today and got another extremely faint positive on a FRER. All came up within timeframe.

This clearly isn’t a viable pregnancy as lines are way too faint for 3 days after a missed period and aren’t progressing, but I have no idea what’s going on! Is this most likely just a chemical that is taking ages to clear (in my last 2 the tests went completely negative, my bbt went down and my period came pretty quickly) or could it be something like an ectopic?

Ive attached pictures of tests (the cheapie is first one, the 2 together are yesterday, and FRER is today’s).

TIA! x

Hi, sadly this is exactly what my chemical pregnancy looked like. It was really faint for a few days, then started spotting, then bleeding, and then eventually had a negative test.

But saying that, theres a chance it may just be a faint positive and you ovulated late. It's hard to tell really as anything can happen. good luck xxx

I had that on my chemical :( took a week though.

But fingers crossed you ovulated later :)
