Hello! I am new to testing for ovulation and although I’ve read lots of information I’d love to see your progression lines. I’m currently on cycle day 8 and have the faintest of lines. Thanks!

@LW678 I will be starting opks myself this month so I'm keen to see also. I'm assuming that will be your base line and once it gets darker than the control that's when you've hit your surge. I'm currently all over the show with my cycles so I'll be testing soon as af stops I'm on day 7 xx

Here's mine from last cycle. I have short cycles and tend to test from a few days after my period ends. Sometimes I test twice a day when I start getting EWCM.

@Jadeypie feel free to follow this thread!

@mushroomushroom how do you record your ovulation? I currently have the clearblue tests but would be interested to see an actual figure

I only tested 3 times last cycle, was my first attempt at OPKs and I did it quite last minute so did one test on CD15 4PM, one on CD16 11AM (peak) and one at 9:30am on CD17.
So you can see how quickly mine peaked and dropped :)

This month I did one on CD13 which was negative, didn't have time to do one on CD14 and then did one on CD15 which was also negative. Would have seen the peak in CD14 if I'd tested as I ovulated on CD15 (BBT confirmed)

On the thread I'm on with several others everyone had very different experiences with OPKs last month, some peaked and dipped very quickly like me but some had really slow increases and decreases and some had several high points throughout the month.

@LW678 I use the easy@home sticks I buy on Amazon, and take a photo with the Premom app and it calculates it for me. I've never used the clearblue one so I can't help I'm afraid!

I like the easy@home ones as they're cheap and are always reliable (in my experience). I use BBT to confirm ovulation.

Here's a picture of my tests from last cycle for anybody that's new to it. I enter fertile window quite soon after AF so I tend to test twice a day as I could easily miss it. As you can see I hit peak on cd12 so ovulation was cd13. I wasn't lucky last cycle but have just finished AF so starting to test again. Planning to bd every second day until cd11 and then 3 days in a row so hopefully we catch it 🤞

Here’s my OPKs I also use Easy@home and enter on Premom app. I ovulate late in my cycle generally between day 19-21 so tend to test from day 16/17. You can see it’s important to test twice in a day when you’re coming up to peak as I’d have missed my peak if I only tested in the morning of day 20.

Is anyone still active on this thread? I'm new to OPK, and have had pretty random cycle lengths.
I had a MC at 5w 3 weeks ago, and after an evening of mild cramps and just feeling slightly "off" last Sunday (2 weeks after MC started), I had an inkling I might have ovulated. With DTD that night and on Weds

In the last couple of days I've had more mild cramping and so I thought possibly implantation? No spotting, but think I feel slightly nauseous today (though I'm telling myself it's because I'm so so tired after being up with poorly kids!)

Did preg test this morning- negative. also tried the cheapie OPK last night, this morning and this evening- last night and this morning it was clear that the control line was much much darker.
I ended up dipping 2 strips just now as I thought one hadn't taken - though now I've left it, they seem to show that although both lines are not strong, they are giving slight different results. Have scanned them into the app and one says high and the other says peak- but both came from dipping in the same pee!!
but have also read that OKP can show positive for HCG? Can someone with more OPK experience help a gal out?!
