clear blue ovulation tests...have i screwed up?

i did my first test in the evening of day 7 as i had forgotten to do it in the morning (as got up with DD and then to work). the my second test in the morning of day 9 and i immediately got a flashing smiley. I know i usually don't ovulate til day 16/17 so have i screwed this up? I never get a decent positive on the cheapy ones.

So the flashing smiley shows that your oestrogen levels are rising. For most women this starts around 4 days before an LH surge that signals ovulation is about to occur, but for some women it can be a few days more. I don't think you've messed anything up! Just as a heads up Clearblue instructions are to use it once a day only, with first morning urine. So don't try to test more than once in a day with it x
