Low sperm count

So me and my partner are trying to convince, we did a home sperm test kit, which showed low sperm count. Can we still convince naturally? Also any tips on how to build his sperm count up or is it best just to go doctor? Have been trying for 8 months

Go to a doctor.
DH had/has low sperm count. We went to the gp after 6 months ttc and they did a sperm analysis which found his count was low but motility and morphology was fine. They referred us to the nhs fertility service and they did another sperm sample but also did full checks on me to make sure there were no issues with me as well. All of this was free and they told us we would need ivf but we would have to pay as I already had a child. But at least we saved loads by getting all the testing for free.
We got very lucky and conceived naturally after 14 months.

Go to your doctors and get the ball rolling, we've been ttc for almost 2 years and only just at the stage of getting referred for IVF, partner has low count, hopefully you conceive before needing any treatment but at least you'll have started to process as it is a lot of waiting if planning on using NHS services! Thank you, I've had blood tests and all came back fine. I don't think we will be entitled to IVF as he has 2 children from previous and I have one as well. Thank you for all your advice. Wish you both luck on your journeys

@Chanelle44 they do a pelvic ultrasound, hsg/hycosy and swabs as well as bloods if you get referred.
Did the home test tell you how low the count is?

No just had a faint line that mean low sperm count
