Help me with flashing smileys

So I had 2 flashings smileys and then my partner and I DTD last night at 14 days into a very regular cycle. However I just got another flashing smiley today! I was really thinking it would be solid, so now don't know what to do. Are they super accurate or could I actually be ovulating on one of these flashing days? I would just DTD again but it's painful for me for a few reasons so would rather avoid it so soon.

I would take the easy at home cheap strips alongside these as they are accurate but you only get an updated result every 24 hours obviously so it could happen at any point during that time. The cheap ones I was doing three times per day and it was much easier to see if that was ‘the’ night. The clearblue ones did agree the following day and they went static but obviously if I hadn’t of known the night before I might not have dtd

Ok thank you, I do have some cheapies so I'll do one in the morning. Is there a decent change of conceiving with sex 2 days before ovulation or is that too long?

I had the same thing with CB tests initially. I started testing about 5 days after my period ended and always got flashing smileys. I then tested as soon as my period ended the next month and it went straight to solid smiley 2 days after my period ended. I hadn’t realised I ovulated that early and I did conceive that month.

The flashing smiley shows your oestrogen is rising, this happens before your LH peak, which is what shows up as a static smiley. After the static smiley shows up it's usually 12-36 hours until you ovulate. So it's highly unlikely to ovulate when it's only flashing smiley, but sperm live for up to 5 days so you should still be in with a chance.
