Anyone have negative tests before a positive?

Anyone ever had negative tests before a positive? I'm due my period in 3 days but I feel pregnant 🫣 I've had 3 negative tests, however none were the first wee of the day.

I'm now waiting until I get a 'missed' period to test.

My symptoms:
Last 7 days:

Slight cramping on one side, lower back pain... the side I felt myself ovulate on... not as intense as period pains

Increased saliva

Feeling slightly 'off' and more emotional

Usually before I'm due on I get really sore boobs and more intense cramps, which I haven't got...

I am just hopeful I guess that there's people who tested negative and got a positive a week later

Following. I’m in the similar boat however my only symptom is mild cramps. Due AF on Sunday and all tests so far have been a BFN on FMU. Do you think you can hold off testing until you’ve missed AF? I definitely can’t 😂

I did. I had to wait two weeks before I got a positive. I knew I was pregnant, DH kept saying I couldn't be. I felt dizzy, my boobs hurt, and when I took a bite of buttered toast for breakfast I nearly threw up from the sensation of grease. But on top of that I 100% just knew. Something in my body felt totally different. Hard to describe.

I'm due on Friday, I've had very mild cramps but nothing like period cramps- they come and go... my salvia is bothering me the most... my mouth is drooling so much with a metal sour taste at times!

I'm shocked to see BFN, but perhaps I was just hopeful. I've been talking to a women who was negative on Sunday and tested faintly positive today, her AF was due today!

So there's hope! I'm deflated as all my friends seem to fall quickly!

I've used 2 x super drug early detection, but the reviews look rubbish! - I've also tested negative on a clear blue... but they don't pick up until 25 HcG which is quite high as first response pick up at 6 HcG and I can't find them anywhere!!!!!

They've all not been my first urine of the day either, I'm so hopeful it'll still come ( the BFP )

What have you been testing with?

The wondfo cheapie tests picked up my current pregnancy even before an FRER! They are well worth it!

FRER seem to be out of stock everywhere in shops. Did see some on Amazon though. I’ve been using the clearblue early detection which is really sensitive using FMU and the test is stark white, not even the tiniest of lines. I’ve just bought a pack of 20 easy@home from Amazon as they were only £9, have good reviews and are meant to detect pregnancy early

I'm in the same boat as you @MumOfHals.. I'm due AF on Sunday.. bn testing d last 3 days with Clear Blue Early detection.. BFN.. but I feel like I'm pregnant.. but on my last pregnancy I had d exact same symptoms as now and didn't test positive until d day I was due AF.. using Clear Blue early detection aswell.. I have all pregnancy symptoms no period symptoms.. Gonna try hold out until Sunday.. lots of baby dust to you

@Peanutx2278 I am also due AF on Sunday. Something keeps telling me I’m pregnant but every test so far has been a BFN

I did, I had quite a few negative tests before a positive. I had my coil removed as we was ttc and a few weeks later I felt nauseous and tired all the time, I was adamant I was pregnant but all the tests I had taken was negative so I put it down to having the coil removed and my hormones adjusting. A couple of weeks later my period hadn't turned up (which I was expecting really with it being my first one after having the coil removed) but I still had the nausea and was permanently exhausted, because we was ttc I had been using ovulation tests and had a smiley face roughly 5 days earlier so on a whim I thought I'd do another ovulation test, a smiley face came up straight away, which I thought was strange as it was smiley days ago, so I googled and discovered it also picks up the pregnancy hormone, so off I went to shop and bought a clear blue pregnancy test, and it turned positive immediately, it turned out that i was 7 weeks pregnant with twins by this point, I often think it's strange how my pregnancy tests kept coming back negative despite the fact that I would have been 5 weeks pregnant by that point 🤷‍♀️
