How many dpo am I? Please help

Can some one please help?

how many dpo am I? I can’t get my head around how it works! 🤦‍♀️it says my ovulation days started from the 22nd to the 25th of August been the main day of ovulation . I took an ovulation test on the 24th and it was positive. It says ten days till my next period. I’m so confused.

You're about 5 dpo hun. I'd test about 12dpo if you can't hold out till your when your period is due! Hope you get your positive xx

What are you using to track or test? If you're using strips, then it's your peak day – the day it said positive or the line looks strongest. So the day after a peak is 1 dpo. If it's an app, then they'll estimate a fertile window and usually circle or highlight your estimated ovulation day (which is your estimated 'peak' day).

Worth bearing in mind that it's all ballpark stuff anyway, as the only way to accurately pinpoint when an egg is released is to watch it on an ultrasound.

I used a strip test and on Thursday the 24th it was when I had a dark line on the test strip. weirdly I have started bleeding and cramping like I’m having a period, and my period is not due for the days. I’m so confused 🫤 .

sorry that meant my AF isn’t due for another ten day’s.

@GreenTurtle75 also thanks for this, I’m so confused what is happening to me. I had a positive strip test last Thursday and I never bleed like this between my periods. Been trying to Google why I’m cramping and bleeding when I’m so far away from my AF. @Summer2424 Thank you it’s not looking good for me with this cramping and bleeding.

Is it a lot of cramping and bleeding? It's possible to have a little implantation bleeding/pain around now (most people don't feel it, but some do), so could possibly be that, but best to speak with your GP if you're concerned and this isn't usual for you.

@GreenTurtle75 It’s a lot of cramping but the bleeding has calmed down and a lot lighter. This is so unusual for me to bleed and cramp like I'm having a period. I wasn’t sure at what stage you can have these implantation symptoms.

@Tarn85 Implantation is usually between 6 and 10 DPO, but it varies from person to person.

@GreenTurtle75 Thank you for the advice, I have rang the out of hours doctors just waiting for them to ring me back. Hopefully they can give me some advice as I have had an ectopic pregnancy before so this has really worried me. 😓
