Vvfl at 4dpo

Hi, I have a vvfl line at 4dpo that appeared almost immediately. I've been feeling very nauseous since last night. We've been trying for baby no 2 for about 6 months. I had really horrible HG with my first pregnancy. I'm going to test again tomorrow morning with a clear blue test as the current test is a cheap asda brand one. Could this be a false positive?

Edit: I've also been having very sore boobs since ovulating.

I can see a line, looks like a positive to me xx

All the scientific evidence suggests it is impossible to get a positive at 4dpo, the egg won't have implanted yet to be releasing any HCG. So either you ovulated earlier than you thought or this is an evap/false positive. Hopefully it's the former :)

As PP above, an embryo hasn't even finished forming at 4dpo, let alone started to implant and release HCG so you must have ovulated earlier than you think. I definitely see a line though 🙂

I see a line, it's faint, but it's definitely there. Like PPs have said, hopefully it is a growing bundle of joy and you're more than 4DPO.

What was the outcome, OP?

@SarahShorty I tested again the next couple days and they were all negative. I'm guessing it was just a false positive. Weirdly enough my period which is normally very regular is 4 days but I'm still testing as negative so I'm not too sure what's going on.

@Bubblegum21415 it sounds like it was a false positive. I think those are worse than false negatives. I'm so sorry 😔
