Hi! Looking for some advice. Have a 10mo baby and want to start preparing for TTC soon (was recommended to wait 12 months). My first pregnancy was quite rough - bleeding in first trimester and frequent Braxton hicks starting w16 which affected cervix. Cervix was at 1 cm from 27 weeks, got bedrest, steroid shots for baby’s lungs etc. Was never diagnosed incompetent cervix though because after bed rest and sick leave from work my cervix actually extended. It was still a very stressful experience. Luckily the baby stayed in. However, he was also a breech baby, so it might have helped with not putting too much pressure on the cervix. Born via planned c section due to breech.

The question is, is there anything really that you would do to prepare for second pregnancy in this situation? Are there any supplements, training, meditation or anything that can help against Braxton hicks? I am really looking forward to start trying again soon but also terrified of going through threats of prematurity again. Thanks!
