Testing 6 days before period due?

Unsure what day I ovulated as I don't track my ovulation, I just use the Flo app which gives me a 8 day window for ovulation... is this too early still to test? AF due on 29th aug. Using one step tests off eBay which I've heard mixed things about... convinced I seen a faint line this morning but think my eyes are playing tricks on me

You can test but I wouldn't rely on it. I only tested faintly positive on the day AF was due, negative until then.

@Peony654 it's crazy how different everyone is, I've had people tell me they tested positive up to 8 days before AF and then some people like yourself who only tested positive once AF was due/missed...

This mornings test, I was convinced I could see the faintest of faint lines but I think it's just me... @Peanutbutter11

I had what I thought were shadows and evaps from 6dpo.....they turned into a proper bfp at 9dpo...which is 5 days before AF and I know exactly when I ovulated so no chance it was any earlier, it's possible but best giving it a cpl more days.

I would advise giving it a couple more days, I got a BFN at 11DPO and a faint positive at 12DPO (3 days before AF due)

I have just took another one to see if the last test was just a Evap (prev test was taken at 10am), this is what shown up on test taken at 12.45pm. I swear I still see a shadow?

Im due on next Wednesday, tested on Sunday owing to breast pain, nothing, tested Monday morning, nothing, didnt test Tuesday, all but forgot about it as most months I do this, always think im preggo. Tested this morning as realised boobs still ever so slightly tender, got this. So it is perfectly possible to be showing positive a week before your period x

I feel like I can see a shadow here, is that right?

@Screwballs yes that is were I am seeing the line also... only symptoms I've really had is slight back pain and a little nausea today

I don't see a line. But at that many days before, I wouldn't expect to. I know it's hard but put the tests down and ignore it for another week.

I would save yourself a lot of worry, anxiety and potential disappointment and just test when your period is late.

I can see a very faint line but definitely wait until periods are due 🤞🏼

Congratulations 🎉🎉 looks like we were both getting shadows from 6dpo that turned to bfps 😂

@Kellyaust it's crazy how sensitive our eyes must be to see these shadows and be convinced you've seen a line haha! Thought I was crazy!!!

I was seeing them so much I was convinced my bfp was an evap 😂😂😂
