Could I be pregnant???

I am on the contraceptive pill. 2 weeks ago I was on antibiotics, on Amoxycilian for a week and we used the pull out method one night as the Dentist told me to use double contraception. The last 2 days I have had the worst nausea. Could I be pregnant? Would the pill not work if I was taking the antibiotics?
Has this happened to anyone else? Thank you.

It's possible as some antibiotics affect contraceptive pill. Pull out method is not something you should use if you don't want to fall pregnant. I have a colleague whose gf got pregnant while she was on antibiotics as they messed up her contraceptive.

Unless the antibiotics made you vomit or have diarrhea, they wouldn't have had an effect Amoxycillan doesn't affect the contraceptive pills effectiveness.

Nausea could be a lot of things unrelated to pregnancy. If you're worried, you can take a pregnancy test to be sure, but the odds are that you're not pregnant.

Also, the pull out method is not contraception. If you need to use an alternative short-term method in the future (if you miss a pill or have a vomiting bug for example), use condoms.
