Breast pain with ovulation and conception

Hi there, just wondering what people’s thoughts and experiences were. Been TTC for a while now and I basically always get breast pain a few days after I ovulate which lasts maybe a 4-5 days then goes away. It can either be very sensitive nipples or generalised fullness and pain in breasts. I don’t get it in the run up to AF. I’m putting this down to progesterone rise and then fall before AF. It feels like every time my breast pain goes away, it’s a reminder I’ve been unsuccessful that month. I’m just wondering if this is normal or whether this is maybe a sign my hormones are out of balance/contributing to infertility. Does anyone else have this type of cyclical breast pain and if so did they fall pregnant? Thanks all!

I did and I fell pregnant on the 6th attempt, though timing might have been wrong in some of those attempts . After giving birth, I stopped getting breast pain and fell pregnant easily again. In my case the breast pain made no difference to fertility.

thanks for that - makes me feel more reassured.
