Has anyone else ovulated on day10/11 and have fallen pregnant ? Everywhere I’m looking says it’s very rare as it’s a sign of infertility . Thank you

From memory with DC1 I got my positive OPK on CD12

Anything under 11 is considered a short follicular phase and MAY indicate an underlying issue or cause fertility issues.

You can mention it to your GP, especially if your follicular phase has shortened. They might still want you to wait the 12 months (6 if over 25) before doing any testing but they could have some advice.

It is entirely possible to conceive naturally with a short follicular phase, it's just not as common/considered less likely.

How long is your luteal phase? That's the time between ovulation and your period.

its about 17 days my luteal phase . Have been TTC for 18 months now but I’m 37 so assumed it was because of my age until I started doing the clearblue ovulation tests . I am on cycle day 10 and still getting the flashing smiley face so no static yet but that will probably be tomorrow which is cycle day 11 . Everywhere I go to read up on this is so negative . Thank you x

I ovulate early in my cycle (I do have infertility issues and recurrent losses) but we tested my cd10 ovulation baby and he was healthy.

My sister also has short cycles (shorter than me) and her son is a cd9 ovulation and her daughter is a cd10 ovulation - she waited a week past her period being missed to test with her daughter and was 4 weeks according to the nhs calculator. Scans put her ahead. No issues with either pregnancy and no issues conceiving for her.

Forgot to say, with my tested baby, I was exploring ivf at the time and had a scan at the clinic and had 2 follicles of 16mm and my lining was over 9mm so no issues highlighted there even though it was early I my cycle, cd8 I think.

@VenusStarr so sorry to hear about your baby . How wonderful that your sister has her baby girl . Thank you for commenting and reassuring me . I have had the flashing face but have not got a static face yet , this time last month I had already had it so maybe im not ovulating this month . Grrrr . Are you still TTC ? X

No worries @Tottenhaminmyblood ttc is a head🤬 we are still loosely ttc. We might do a final ivf round early next year then stop (we started trying when I was 34 and I'm 40 next week). But my case is very rare I think, so don't let that put you off or worry ❤️

I get the ovulation worries. I'm usually textbook but this cycle I don't think I've ovulated til cd19! Unusual for me. Wishing you luck x
