I want to concieve but I have also been having lower stomach pain for months. At first I did not know what caused this pain as the pain would randomly keep going and coming back but as some time has gone by I strongly suspect it to be a digestive issue as the pain is accompanied with changing my bowel movements. Sometimes it feels as if I have a stomach bug. I am going to book a blood tests to get it sorted but I don't know how long it will take to be diagnosed and treated. It's my first time trying to have a baby so I'm not sure if it is still a sensible idea to try and concieve since it's linked with digestion and not my menstrual cycle or hormones or should I wait?

You never know how long it might take you to conceive, it could happen straight away or sadly take a long time. It really depends how you feel at the moment. If you’re getting unwell a lot and it’s really getting to you then maybe hold off until you start to feel better. If it’s manageable then you could always start ttc and see how you get on.

Hi @flyingbeet
I would try and concieve. While you're trying to concieve you can speak to your doctor about your stomach pains. Hope all will be ok xx
