Ectopic pregnancy left tube removed

Hi,

I had my left tube removed after an erupted ectopic pregnancy.

after the surgery, they said my right tube was a little swollen at the bottom, but this could be caused by the liquid.

Any positive stories ? I’m really upset, I know I’m still young and there’s time, but I just wanted a baby we tried for over a year, I didn’t want to go through this.

Yes I went on to have 2 perfectly normal uneventful pregnancies after my ectopic pregnancy and only one tube left. They just scan early to make sure the egg made it to the uterus. Many many others like me, but I remember feeling like you after it had happened and wondering if we would be able to conceive a baby naturally firing on only one cylinder.

Hello,

I am very sorry to here about your experience and glad you went to have a healthy pregnancy again.

I am 1 year after having an etopic pregnancy and having pain where my right tube was removed. I was told it was due to ovulating but it is quite sore. Did you experience this year after your experience if you don't mind me asking? Just want some reassurance

I had 2 children after ectopic and tube removal. Was very anxious through both pregnancies but they were physically fine. Wishing you a happy future, there's no reason you shouldn't have one.

Yes but was never really sure that's what it was, kept googling diverticulitis and so on

I had the right tube removed and happened to get pregnant the first time I had unprotected sec four months later, then once the child was 2 we had sec and thought let's just see what happens. Another one came along after a year. Then three years after that I had another ectopic and asked them to remove the tube, I have two kids and felt the risks were too high to keep trying. It's scary but doesn't mean you won't have kids.
