Does AMH affect egg quality

I have pcos so amh is quite high they said. 59pmol at age 36 .
What I'm wondering is does having a higher amh help age related egg quality or does it still decline like normal.

Planning on having ivf but we honestly can't afford it right now and I'm wondering if it's something we should rush I.e try take a loan or would we be OK for a year or so

Higher AMH means your ovaries have larger supply of eggs, not necessarily quality ones though. Are you taking any supplements? Have you been to a scan? I had one at a private clinic (I was visiting my parents abroad so had it there) and they could tell me that I still had lots of eggs with follicles left which is needed for fertility.

I had similar AMH (54) result as you and was 34 at that time (Feb 2022). I conceived DS in July 2022. So I guess I had some quality eggs and I’m sure you do too. Why are you thinking about IVF, did you try other options? I took Letrozole which helped me to ovulate and conceived on second cycle of 5mg
