Has anyone had a successful pregnancy after being treated with methotrexate for an ectopic pregnancy?

Looking for hope and most stories on here are from those who have fallen pregnant post tube removal.

I've not had methotrexate for ectopic pregnancy but I did inject it weekly for a medical condition I have , I had to stop taking it for 3 months before TTC . I'm now 6 weeks pregnant so there's no reason why you can't be successful if you allow the recommended time x

I had methotrexate in January due to an ectopic. I followed the advice to not ttc for three months following and started trying again in April. I fell pregnant in May and am now 14w, so it only took two months. What's even more surprising is it took us over a year and leteozole (fertility treatment) to fall pregnant the first time. I truly believe the ectopic 'reset' my system so to speak and helped me fall pregnant again naturally the second time.

Wishing you all the best xx

I had methotrexate in 2016 for an ectopic. Got pregnant in 2017 with my dc1 and then had dc2 in 2020. All was good after 3 years of trying before the ectopic

I had 2 doses of methotrexate in March for a c-section ectopic, I was told to wait 6 months before trying again (due to the scar not the methotrexate) came off contraception last month to try next month and have just found out I'm pregnant. Clearly no issues here either!

This thread is incredibly reassuring, I just came to say that

I had an ectopic treated with methotrexate in 2018 and went on to have a successful pregnancy in 2019. I was advised to wait 3 months to try but didn't have any issues after. Good luck to you ❤️
