Negative test after 2 weeks

I believe I ovulated on 30 July, we BD on 28, 29 and 30th. My period hasn’t came (has been a bit irregular the past few months) and was last here on 6 July.

I have taken a pregnancy test this morning and it’s negative. Is there a possibility that it’s too early to test or am I definitely not pregnant? Thanks

Your previous periods started 6th July? That would make 5.5 weeks ago so pregnancy test would show if you were pregnant by now.

Thanks, my periods are very irregular and I was getting a positive ovulation test on 30 July. Will that have been a false positive considering it’s so long after my period?

@Polkadotcat no it's not too long after af everyone is different! Some people ov on cd12 some people ov on cd35 it's definitely possible if you have irregular periods. I would keep testing every couple of days until af comes because some people don't test positive until aaaaaages after their period is due x
