Clomid Follicle study Results

Hi,

My LH surge has been really high consistently all day today, I'm in cycle one of Clomid (50mg).

My day 11 follicle scan showed 12 and 18 mm follicles, one in each ovary.

I'm on day 13 and it feels like I'm about to ovulate.

Does anyone know what would happen to both follicles since there is such a size difference. Can they grow at different rates?
