Hello

I have only just started talking clomifene.
my ovilation was irregular , among other issues.
this is the last straw before we have to consider IVF.
Has anyone has any experience of being successful after taking clomifene? Been trying for second baby for over 4 years.

Honestly , it's a roll of the dice and success depends on many circumstances.
I read that it's 70% effective at inducing ovulation and of those women taking it 1 in 10 will get pregnant.
So statistically, quite low, but it does happen. Somebody has to be that 1 in 10.

Unfortunately, it wasnt me.
Im on my 4th clomid cycle and this will be my last before moving onto ivf.
I was prescribed for 6 months , however
Weve made the decision that we will discontinue after this month as we weighed everything up and I personally feel the negative side effects associated with clomid outweigh the postive and I don't want to risk impairing my fertility further.
How old are you and how many cycles were you prescribed?
Will you be receiving monitoring ?
Have you been told why your not ovulating ?

This is my first cycle of Clomid, will be reviewed after 3 months. I’m not feeling hopeful at all to be honest. So irregular ovulating is my issue, sometimes I do ovulate and sometimes I don’t. I also have one blocked tube which doesn’t help.
We were told that Clomid will probably not work for us but worth giving it a try as the cost of IVF is very expensive.
Is ovulation the only issue you have? X

@DTC91 I ovulate but havent fallen pregnant yet. Im taking clomid for it to increase ovulation and chances of getting pregnant. Currently on 50mg days 3-7.

@DTC91 Heyy how are you. So im only 10DPO but ive had the slightest faint line show. It may be the start of my BFP but i cant confirm until i see it to be alot more prominent.
