I will get straight to the point. I should be about 6/7 weeks pregnant but my cycles have been a bit longer and slightly irregular due to having a miscarriage 3 months ago. We went for an early scan today at the EPU expecting to see something around 6-7 weeks but she told us it’s at about 5 weeks. It was a grim appointment as this was followed up by the post mortem results of our previous loss which was Patau syndrome. I’m feeling a bit blue and not hopeful. We’re going back in 2 weeks so it’s going to be a tough two weeks but wondered if anyone had any similar experiences and stories of success? Were you earlier than expected and did everything turn out ok?
