TTC: AUGUST 2023 post pill

Hello ladies,

Who else is on this ttc (I personally am after the pill)

Ended the pill the end of may and now it's already august!! So many days ttc and no luck as of yet but im not putting my hopes down as I had my first period few weeks ago and now I should be in peak ovulation or have just passed it 😄😄

Hello 😊 I finished the pill on the 14th of July. I still haven’t had a period after the withdrawal bleed when I initially stopped taking it. Decided to try track ovulation anyway and peaked on the 7th of this month so fingers crossed 🤞

omg me! i stopped the pill on 1 june, had a withdrawal bleed straight after, then no real period at all so far. haven't tracked ovulation so i have no clue whether i've ovulated or not...

around 5 august i had a very strong bitter, metallic taste in mouth for three days, along with a lot of cramping, nausea and dizziness. that seems to have mostly gone away now (surely hormone related - i'm not sick and don't take medications or have any dental trouble). im stumped as to what it could have been. never had anything like it before. pregnancy tests have been negative so far.

Yeah I personally started having similar things and thought I was pregnant then a few days after my proper period came 😭😭 I should have ovulated or be ovulating right now. I've had regular BMD so I'm hoping this has worked! I personally haven't done any ovulation tests. I've had egg white discharge and a higher sex drive which all is good signs pointing to ovulation.

I really hope this is the month. As I know end of may to august isn't really long but it still seems to feel like ages. Just what my BFP

Good luck! Just don't be too disappointed if it doesn't happen straight away 👍 as I know I put myself down that hole thinking I was going to get pregnant before my first proper period and didn't

Hello! Me too 🙂 although periods have been all out of whack since coming off the pill end of April. Cycles are upwards of 32 days (longest so far 37 days) and I’m sceptical about whether I’m ovulating at all so far given the lack of positive OPKs and symptoms. Not holding out hope as I think there is a bit of a waiting game involved until things sort themselves out…

I'm getting minor cramping very rarely today, I believe my ovulation is over.
