Positive test? TTC #2 after ectopic

Earlier this year I had an ectopic pregnancy which was resolved with methotrexate. Once the 3 month wait had passed I wasn't ready to start TTC again because I was still processing the trauma of the ectopic. I've read threads on here other people's experience with ectopic pregnancy and my heart goes out to all of you

Two months ago it was like a switch was flipped and all I could think about was trying to get pregnant again and wanting another baby. I'm approx 12/13dpo (based on ovulation pain not OPKs) and I took a test not expecting anything but a really faint line has come up.

This is an easy@home test and there was loads of dye bleeding on the strip. Does this count as positive or could it just be the dye bleeding? Really not daring to get my hopes up after a tough year

Hey, that's definitely a positive. I had an ectopic earlier this year and also treated with methotrexate too so i know how hard it is and I'm sorry you've had to go through this. I'm now 6+4 weeks pregnant also. Congratulations 🎊 x

I had the same in January and was treated with methotrexate, I'm so sorry that happened to you, it is so traumatic :(

But this test is 100% positive, congratulations! Contact your EPU over the next few days and they can get you in for a scan at 6 weeks to confirm the location of the pregnancy and put your mind at rest.
