DP and I have been trying for a baby for over 3 years now with no success due to me having PCOS with no periods or ovulation. We have undergone 3 rounds of Clomid with me being unresponsive for all for these. Our last option is IVF. I have desperately been dieting in order to lose the weight to meet the criteria for a NHS referral which we now have.
The final requirement for the referral to reach clinic is a blood test for myself on day 2 of my cycle. My last period was 28/4 so was prescribed provera to induce a bleed to enable the blood test. However, now 13 days post stopping provera and still no bleed and having taken multiple pregnancy tests prior, during and after the course which were all negative so imagine my surprise last night when my routine tests came up like this!!
How likely is it that One Step pregnancy tests could give a false result?
