Anyone had IUI for male ejaculation issues?

My DP has issues ejaculating from sex, although he is ok with masturbation (please, no one pass judgement or give any 'advice' on how he can ejaculate from sex, that's not what I'm asking).

We used home artificial insemination kits and I got pregnant after about 6 months but that sadly ended in missed miscarriage. we're giving it about 8 months to try again, but the home insemination kits are quite expensive using them month after month along with ovulation tracking etc which is all essential if you can't get pregnant as easily from sex (I can't afford to use a kit every couple of days for 2 weeks). After this time I'll be 35 and qualify for fertility assessments from the NHS, and so it seemed a good timeline to start looking into IUI as a potential option too.

I was wondering if anyone had any experience of male ejaculation issues which meant they went down the IUI route within the NHS? I've only really seen posts from unexplained infertility, which (currently) is not our issue, it's more the physical process that is causing issues.

Hi, I just wanted to message to say I am in the same situation as you with my husband and doing ai at home. I wondered if you had any luck with the gp? Hope you have had some luck since this post.
