Still possible to conceive?

Hi, I’ve been MIA on Mumsnet as I’m finding TTC very mentally draining.
last month was a shambles during fertile week as I unexpectedly peaked on CD10 which was way earlier than the usual CD16/17.

this month I’ve seemed to have peaked yesterday at CD13 so predicted O day today.

but my ‘peak’ seems to be lower than previous months when I’ve gotten over 1.0 each month.

I will continue to test throughout this week but is it possible to still conceive with a lower LH surge?

this is our last month trying before taking a 3 month break as we have a lot on & needing the break mentally. 🙈

Definitely possible but I would say keep testing until your usual peak day. I got caught with this one month, got a 'peak' reading in premom at 0.88 and usually I get 1.5-2.0. Stupidly stopped testing and realised I must have ovulated a full week later at day 25 when my period was a week late. Wish I'd kept testing!

@WildestDreams3 thank you lovely! Yeah going to keep testing, haven’t done todays test yet as I usually wait until around 12ish to do it then later in the evening. I’ll probably end up testing right through for another week and a bit 🙈

It's such a pain isn't it! The stress of trying to get the peak and then the stress of the tww, wish I could be one of the lucky ones who can just see how it goes and not symptom spot 🤣 hopefully you get your peak in the next couple of days!

@WildestDreams3 oh I get you, the mental torcher of it all is crazy, I honestly thought the last two cycles I wouldn't have time to symptom spot and test because we just bought a house and have been renovating but of course I always had time to overthink symptoms and test 🙈 you hit your peak or in your TWW yet?

Mental torture is exactly the right term for it 😂😂 congrats on your house move! That will defo keep you busy.

Yeah I'm on 8dpo today and slowly killing myself with symptom spotting and googling mumsnet threads haha. Af due on Saturday but my mind tricks me into thinking 'this is the month' so often, I'm going to wait to test.

@WildestDreams3 thank you, hasn't kept me too busy atm because during my TWW my partner refused to let me do anything other than move light things and refuses to let me help with painting and heavy lifting which is lovely he's supportive but gives me so much more time to sit and think about symptoms I've had etc 😂

I'm such a bad TWW person, I wanna start testing from 1DPO 😂 every month I'm like 'oh this is the month I'll get my positive soon' and never have yet except a silly indent line that got me soooooo excited 😭 so this month I'm going to try my hardest to hold out and just get my partner to take my box of tests away from me until I physically can't hold no more.

Here's todays test; higher that yesterday so peak will no doubt be pending today.

I literally could have written your post! I haven't had even a hint of a line apart from an indent too, so annoying!

I certainly didn’t have to wait long, just done another test and it’s a dye stealer for me 1.34 on the app. I’ve never gotten above 1.10 - we DTD last night but I’m such a control freak and have told my partner that we have have to DTD again tonight so the egg has even fresher sperm to meet the egg when it’s released. Hopefully it releases during the night and while my body’s resting they get to work 😂
