No symptoms but positive test??

Hey everyone, I’ve been ttc since January. (first baby, I’m 36.)
Period is late but I’ve been having 40 day cycles so haven’t thought anything of it.

I ovulated 2 weeks ago, and took a test this evening just so I knew if I could drink this coming weekend, and was shocked that it seems to be positive- as I don’t seem to have any other symptoms?

I feel tired, but I always feel tired 😂 I’ve not felt any sickness at all. I did experience a slight metallic taste earlier but only for a little bit, it’s not constant.

I’m going to buy some more tests tomorrow as I only had this hcg strip available.

Is it possible to be pregnant but have no sickness/ major symptoms?

Photo below, the bottom line got loads darker as time went on, it didn’t start off as dark.

Yes! It's definitely possible. Symptoms often start a bit later (or some women have none at all). Congratulations OP.

Thanks, I know it’s very early days but felt I would have at least had an indication before the test and I honestly didn’t - feeling a bit shocked! I know there’s still time for other symptoms to present but I just expected I’d know.

I've noticed the months I was convinced I had symptoms were the ones that I definitely wasn't pregnant, but the plain boring months are the ones that got my positive tests!

Huge congratulations!

The one month I had zero symptom was the month I fell pregnant with my son! Then 6 weeks hit and so did the sickness.. worth it though! Congratulations

Congratulations 🎉 I didn't have any symptoms and didn't test until over a week late as my periods were irregular at the time.

Ah wonderful. Congratulations OP! I had no symptoms either, and had a perfectly healthy, symptom-free pregnancy (apart from a bump and some constipation!)
