TTC 6/7 months after c-section

Also posted in another topic section as wasn't sure which one to put it in 🤦🏻‍♀️

We had our first baby in March 2023. We’ve always wanted 2 babies close together and have thought about trying for a second in September/October, 6/7 months pp.
Ive read things online to say about waiting 12-18 months before having another baby but other things say 6-12.
has anybody on here got pregnant within a similar time frame following a c-section?
looking for some advice

@Mummy2823 If you search previous threads, there are ladies talking about pregnancy as little as three months post-c section, and no reports of problems. I have read that the main risk is from giving birth, vaginally, after a c section. I am also TTC after a c section, we’re 8 months postpartum now and have been trying for some time. Good luck to you

I see a lot about uterine rupture which sounds very scary. I don't really want to wait 12-18 months.
I'm glad to get a response from someone in the same position as me! I would elect for a c-section on my next baby rather than natural birth anyway
