Line eyes, please. I'm confused!

The first photo was taken yesterday, at 12 dpo - I can see the lines on all of the tests, they're faint. The second photo is from this morning at 13 dpo, 1 day late - I can see the lines too, but I feel like they're fainter than yesterday.

What does this mean? Or is it too early to tell? I have a bunch of cheap tests as I bought a pack recently, so I'll be testing again in a few hours. Has anyone else had this and still gone on to have a great pregnancy?

We've been trying for 8 months and this is the first time I've ever seen a hint of something on a test, so we're extremely excited but also quite confused now. I know that your levels jump every 48 hours, but I still somehow didn't expect today's line to be fainter than yesterday's. Any advice/words of encouragement?

Have just clicked on my own photos and wow the quality is massively reduced. So just to be clear, I can see the lines myself, it's not so much about asking people whether or not they can see them, but rather about today's tests being fainter than yesterday's 😊

@Ladameauxyeuxbruns when is AF due? Try not to stress too much, there's is definitely a faint line still there. Lines can fluctuate for various reasons like urine too diluted etc. most people say to test with fmu but weirdly mine have always been clearer in the evening 🤷‍♀️ Give it another day or so and maybe try get hold of a first response type. I know it's easier said than done but you'll drive yourself mad testing all day. Wishing you lots of luck 🤞🤞

It was due yesterday, so I'm 1 day late today. Alright, that's quite reassuring, I'm happy that there's still a line there even if it is fainter! I might try testing tonight just to see if it's darker, but if not I'll give it a couple of days. I'd very much like to consider myself pregnant right now but it's thrown me off! Will keep fingers crossed, thank you!

So the plot thickens but the line doesn't..

I now have some brown discharge, however, I'm still testing positive but it's still very faint.

To recap:

  • Tested on 12 dpo and got a positive result (photo A) (Also faint positive on a CB test)
  • Tested again on 13dpo (1 day late) and still positive but no darker (photo B)
  • Tested this morning 14dpo (2 days late) and the line is definitely there but very faint.

I've used Easy At Home tests (consistently positive), a Clear Blue (faint positive) and a couple of local off-brand ones (negative).

I dunked an Easy at Home test in some water to make sure the entire box wasn't just faulty and it was a stark negative.

Any ideas? I'm so confused and feeling upset that it isn't darker.

I got some old blood (brown) when pregnant with DS2… so everything crossed for you being pregnant. However I think that perhaps most tests would have a darker line when your period was due… so try not to get your hopes up too much this cycle and test again in a few days.

When I went to the loo this morning there was liquidy brown blood but then when I wiped it was mostly gone, so just like 1 flush of it and then back to brown discharge. As the line hasn't darkened at all over the course of 3 days I think it might be a chemical.. I'm completely heartbroken, we were so excited on Saturday.

To add, the darkest test was on Saturday (12dpo) and since then the lines are there but more faint.

I didn't get my bfp until my period was 4 days late, I'd taken a test at 14 dpo as I knew I'd ovulated early, that was negative, I'd just wait a couple more days, easier said than done I know! Good luck, sending baby dust!

I think that AF has now arrived, but it's impossible to tell when there's a voice telling you it could just be strong implantation bleeding. I think I'll test again tomorrow morning but I'm not feeling very hopeful as the tests haven't been as strong since Saturday. Seems like it might be a chemical but never experienced this so who knows.
