Finding FRERs

Has anyone else really struggled to find FRER tests recently?
I’m TTC number 3 and can’t find them in Boots, Superdrug or Tesco (I’m sure they stocked them when I was TTC baby 1&2). They have them on Amazon but after being sent some dodgy WaterWipes I’m reluctant to buy from there (and they seem really expensive, although maybe they always were).

If anyone has any suggestions for where to get them then please let me know (or if you’ve bought from Amazon and know if they’re legit). I’m also up for alternative suggestions, FRERs seemed to be the best last time I TTCed but obviously I things change in 2 years!

Hi! I think the reason you can't find them anywhere is because they have been famous for giving false positives lately! I've had 2 in 2 months so I would suggest avoiding them at all costs at the minute! The boots early detection is meant to be a good one or the easy@home cheapies are meant to be pretty good too 😊 xx

I used them with my previous three too and it feels weird not having a stock of them.

Thank you! That’s so annoying, they used to be great (although I definitely don’t want false results so I’ll skip trying to order them from Amazon).
In fairness last time I got a positive on a digital test the same day as the FRER (having had a BFN on the FRER the day before). So maybe any test would be almost as good anyway.

Boots 6 day early tests are good too. Not sure about the cheaper strip test ones but the ones that look similar to a frer style are good.

Only if they happened to still have stock left over in stores near you. Otherwise it says not in stock or stock coming soon
