Does LH surge drop indicate ovulation?

Hello, if you get a peak OPK and the next day it's completely dropped, does this indicate you have ovulated that day (day of the drop)? Any chance it could have failed and you get another surge later?

Hello. Yes, there is a chance you might not ovulate. If you don't ovulate, there is also a chance you might have a second LH surge. LH surges aren't a guarantee of ovulation... But if you have regular cycles, it's most likely you'll have 1 LH surge and ovulate 24-48hrs after the peak.

OK thanks, I wondered if it failed maybe the LH would have stayed high but it's completely plummeted today.
