Pregnancy symptoms but negative test?

Hi everyone, I've been on this site now for about 8 weeks frantically looking at symptoms of pregnancy and irregularities and too scared to write until now

I have had pregnancy symptoms now for 8 weeks, nausea, sore boobs, headaches, needing to pee, even today I had these same symptoms especially the nausea. But I decided to bite the bullet and buy a cheap test and the test was negative. I'm confused now because I had the spotting implantation bleed when my period was due the 1st time in July this lasted just 2 days before dying off with old brown blood and then this month the same thing with a light bleed then dying off. In fact was lighter then July's. When I say light bleed I mean not even enough to fill the lightest level tampon

When I started to bleed in aug I thought ok im not pregnant now but then it died off. I've never had this kind of period before ever and checked my tracker to see if I've ever had anything less then 4 days and I hadn't let alone 2 small ones consecutively. So when I took the test I was shocked and did cry a bit as I'd convinced myself it was a definite positive, I don't know really what to do because I don't know if I took the test too close to when I bled because i stopped yesterday or there's actually something medically going on that I don't know about.

Should I wait for when my next period is due to see? I've not really got anyone to talk to about it and feel like I'm suffering and stressed all on my own

Hey @MoonWillow I can't really help, but also going through something similar! I'm really late, have symptoms but tests keep coming up negative. I've booked an appt with my GP next week, so hoping if it AF hasn't come by then they'll do a blood test. Maybe do the same for peace of mind - they should then be able to tell you if you're pregnant or if not, why your cycle has changed so much. Good luck - and keep me updated :) You're not alone x

Hi, I can feel your pain, as from December I've felt pregnant every month, with irregular periods and each month absolutely devastes me when I see a negative test or I come on my period, after seeing the Dr's in March after numerous tests the outcome was an hormonal imbalance. I'm still not back to normal and still trying. Your not alone x

@Leannej1986 i am very similar and my day 22 progesterone came back really high. What has your doctor suggested to balance your hormones?

I’m with you. I think it’s best to go to your doctor if it’s been 8 weeks since a proper period.

I’m nearly two weeks late but pregnancy tests have been negative! I’ve had symptoms like nausea and even randomly threw up this morning 😂

if I don’t get my period by next week, I’ll try to see the GP

@MummyBear2519 the doctors advised I went on the pill to stop my periods so I wasn't having irregular bleeding and that it was my age (36) to be going through this, so not a lot of help, so I'm.just hoping I'll catch pregnant soon then I'll go on the pill after.

I’m much the same. I had spotting 5 days before I was due my period. I’m 43 and as my partner doesn’t have children, been trying to convince and hoping for a last chance before menopause.

Im now almost 3 weeks late and have symptoms, especially lower back ache, sickness (which at first I put down to a bug at first ) and sooooo emotional the last few weeks when I’m normally a strong old bird but tests are negative (I’m checking every other day). I’ve been to the Gp on Friday and they dipped my urine, again negative and sent a sample off to test for infection, I’ve spent the weekend thinking I had a urine infection but today had the results as clear. I’ve today had blood taken to test pregnancy and get the results in the morning. Emotional mess today as I really believe my head was playing games and just a urine infection until today.

I would ask a GP for a blood test however today learnt that they also can come back negative too 🤷‍♀️

I have been feeling pregnancy symptoms for the past week - your usual nausea, fatigue, milky white discharge and smell sensitivity which makes me nearly vomit (similar to pms I’m sure)
I’m 17dpo and have taken a pregnancy test (clear blue) which has come back negative. I’ve also noticed some slight bleeding since yesterday but no cramps or anything to indicate is my period?
planning to test again in a couple of days and if it is the case this would be a second pregnancy of that makes any difference?

im not sure what to think of it and my anxiety is going through the roof… anyone else in this position?
