TTC #2 after mc

Hey,
We have a gorgeous 2.5 year old boy who is our 🌎
We started trying for no 2 in November and fell pregnant quite quickly, however unfortunately we had a miscarriage at 9 weeks earlier this year and had D&C.
5 months have passed (have stopped drinking, taking vitamins) and we aren't having much luck, it's coming up to due date and it's hitting me quite hard.

Anyone else in same situation? X

Hey Hun, similar situation. I have a now 5 year old, we started trying for number 2 in march 2022, concieved in November but sadly lost that baby at 14 weeks in January, TTC since and only just got bfp this month. My hormones were quite messed up for a while, it seemed to help when I basically gave up and said what will be will be! I think we put too much too much pressure on ourselves. We only dtd once to concieve this baby, on peak fertile day before ovulation. Who knows if this one will stick around with us but we can only hope.

@Elg90 super similar situation! I also have an adorable 2 1/2 year old boy, and we started trying for no 2 in November last year. Conceived on cycle 3 and were over the moon, but unfortunately had a MMC in April. Just around 12wks we found that baby had stopped developing at 7+5. Started trying again fairly quickly and am just nearing the end of cycle 4 since the loss. Not only is October and the due date rapidly approaching which is so poignant, but if I haven't conceived this time it will be the longest it's taken (DS was cycle 4) - so that will also be tough. I know it's nothing compared to what some go through but it's one of those personal milestones that it's hard not to acknowledge. Especially as I'm also conscious of the ticking clock and the fact I'll be 38 later in the year.
