TMI semen query

I’m ntnp with a new partner (as in different dad to my other dc) and I find his semen to be very sticky and almost solid/jelly rather than watery liquid (like I’ve experienced before).
Does anyone know or have experience with this and is this still decent semen to conceive?
a google search says thicker is more sperm concentrated but I just don’t feel the same whoosh of the semen going in and then coming out again that I’ve had while conceiving my other dc.
Also nothing comes out afterwards, where as before I’ve felt it come out later on or the next day and it’s been alot.

That doesn't sound like an issue? You want the best chance of the good swimmers getting up through the cervix (while the carrier liquid drips back down the vagina).

He could always have semen analysis if you're concerned

Ah ok that’s interesting I’ve never thought about it like that. It’s just so little fluid I hope it manages up!

I guess without knowing how far up it's going it's hard to know.

It's not an issue. 2 kids, quickly and easily conceived with a jelly producer!

I know exactly what you mean.

That’s good to know thanks!

I have four kids and a bunch always comes out right away. You can try a menstrual cup.

It’s like nothing comes out after though I don’t know if it just sticks up there and then gets absorbed or what!
i remember previously ttc(different partner) it would go right in during ovulation but the next day or later on I’d get that whoosh and I’d need to run to bathroom as it would be making its way out.

It does sound a bit unusual, almost as though he might be dehydrated?

If things seem not to be working conception-wise or if you are concerned as a pp has suggested perhaps get a semen analysis? It may well be nothing of significance.

He sounds dehydrated.
