Cold symptoms after ovulation

I'm currently 3po and the last couple of days I've had a really sore throat and runny nose (pretty much straight after ovulation). It seems to be easing up this evening. I'm not usually one to get ill, so it's thrown me why I have a cold in August and I can't help but hope that it's a sign. I've read that ovulation can lower the immune system but has anyone else had experience of this??

This is purely anecdotal because my middle was the only pregnancy where I charted but I was looking back over it yesterday and noticed I wrote down the day after ovulation I felt I had a cold! It was September too so not usual cold season for me (I didn't have kids in school then!) And at 6dpo I spiked a fever out of nowhere which went away immediately.
