We have not been actively trying for a baby but have not been particularly careful either. We have a beautiful 3 year old.
No idea when I ovulated but I am due my period in a few days.
I have been feeling knackered and sick the last few days. So I took 2 co op tests today which had faint positive results.
I immediately went to the chemist and got some first response which was also faintly positive.
I’m not the biggest expert on the best tests to use, is there any possibility that these are false positives or indents?
I will use my other first response tomorrow morning 😵‍💫 but any similar experiences are welcome. Thank you x

If it came up in the time frame I would say they’re positive!

Mememe1234 · 31/07/2023 19:57

It looks like it’s early stage pregnancy and if you test again in a couple of weeks the line will get darker. When I was pregnant with my 2nd born the line was very faint

Thank you for replying.
they both came up within 5 minutes
trying my hard to wrap my head around a potential unplanned pregnancy x

I'd think that as all three are showing second lines you could well be pregnant, it'd be odd for all of them to be false pos or indents.
Good luck with tomorrow's test!

isitaline97 · 31/07/2023 19:57

I would agree positive, especially after cross checking with another brand.

RubyCat06 · 31/07/2023 19:59

Thank you all for replying to me. It’s hard getting your head around this

Also I did 4 tests and all of them had faint lines. Now I’ve got a 3 year old 🤪 it was unplanned as well

Mememe1234 · 31/07/2023 20:01

I know the feeling as was shocked as well esp that it took 8 years and fertility treatment to be pregnant with my 1st and we didn’t even try with my 2nd. There’s 2 years between them 🫣

RubyCat06 · 31/07/2023 20:01

Thank you
im not sure how we would manage with 2 children. It took a while to conceive our first so I have probably been too lax 🫣

Definitely positive 😌 ❤

RubyCat06 · 31/07/2023 20:10

Thank you all. I am in the middle of a masters degree and this is unplanned but I do appreciate the replies 🩷 can feel alone when you don’t want to tell everyone.

You sound like me 😂 I was doing a masters when I got pregnant with both my first and 2nd. I finished it just before I gave birth to my 2nd. I was doing the masters whilst pregnant and with a toddler.

Summer2424 · 31/07/2023 22:29

Hi @RubyCat06 i can see a line.
Test again first thing. If you can, get a Clearblue digital one x

Oh wow very similar!? How did you manage it all? 🫣

As an update, this morning I tested again. It still looks quite faint.

Thats definitely darker than yesterdays OP! It will take a good few days before it's gets very dark. And your a couple of days off your period still yet aren't you?

Hope your feeling okay ❤️

Mememe1234 · 01/08/2023 15:44

It was hard work but I got some childcare. I was also working full time too but work did take a bit of a back seat close to the end of the course.
I would try and get as much support as you can get. Once you have two young kids it becomes almost impossible to study as well unless you don’t work 🥴

RubyCat06 · 01/08/2023 16:50

Thanks both for replying.
Thankfully I work part time and get study time. I’m nearly finished but a few more months to go 😵‍💫 and then I’m never studying again 😅
my period is due tomorrow. I guess I just need to wrap
my head around things over the next few weeks.

A line is a line - congratulations!

Luckily you have more than a few weeks to prepare 😍

isitaline97 · 01/08/2023 20:53

It's certainly a lot to get your head around when studying and it's a shock to the system. take some time to gather your thoughts, it's completely normal to feel overwhelmed! Take care of yourself
