How long did everyone take with their first to get bfp?

First month both times.
34 conceived DD1 (born at 35)
36 conceived DD2 (will be born when I'm 37).

My husband is 3 years younger if that makes a difference

First month, aged 38. Pregnancy ended in miscarriage, so did the next one, followed by an ectopic. DD born when I was 39. Obvi am fertile so I figured the losses were chromosomal, due to poor quality eggs. Age-related, basically. DP a year younger than me.

Now in TWW on cycle 1 of TTC no.2. Am 40. Hopes are not high. 😓

Tried for 5 years from 27-32 with no BFP!

Went for tests and no underlying fertility issues on either side. Ended up having IVF.

Started trying at 33, 5 years and 13 cycles of IVF, £280k spent and I am currently 12 weeks with what will hopefully be my first child.

2.5 years at 30 (ended in miscarriage, yet to have my rainbow as just had another miscarriage after trying for 6 months this time at 34).

I was 34 and OH was 40. It took us a year. Second pregnancy happened straight away but sadly ended in MC. Currently pregnant again (just about to turn 36) and that took 3 months of trying.

When I was nearly 33, 3 months but ended in ectopic. Then another 2 months after recovery from ectopic but ended in miscarriage. Then another 3 months and my son was born. Baby was born when I was 34. Second time round, first time..! Am 28 weeks. Will be 36 when he's born

Was 31 and took 3-4 months with first but was only sort of trying.
With my second it was 1 month and 3rd was a total accident- think I was getting peri menopausal at this point as I conceived at a really obscure time of the month and heard at that age your body chucks out eggs Willy nilly 🫣, excuse pun!!

First month age 24 and first month age 32- different fathers.

First month for 1st baby- age 29
Month 3 of trying atm after a CP last month- 31 now

Have everything crossed for you. Took 10yrs ttc and 5 private ivf to get my one and only every bfp - so I know some of of your pain

First unplanned second 1st month 3rd about 6 months with one chemical. I remember looking after a lady who had been trying for 15 years, he was an absolutely adorable little poppet, she seemed majorly shell shocked.

Started trying at 36. 2 chemicals months 2 and 3. Currently 11 weeks pregnant, got bfp after 10 or 11 months of trying. This is my first and I’ll be 38 when baby is born.
The doctors all say it takes most people a year or 2, but this wasn’t my observation amongst my friends and mumsnet. It felt like the longest time in the world but I appreciate how l lucky I am.

29- 4 months
32- 5 months (miscarriage)
33- 15 months

1 month for #1 at 36. 3 months at 39 for #2

1st- 30yo, 1st cycle, miscarriage
2nd -31yo 3rd cycle, ds

age 38 9 months TTC

Age 33, took 7 months

@ age 31, first month of trying
@ age 34, third month of trying

29 when we started.
10 months for the pregnancy which resulted in our baby.
Also two miscarriages in that time period.

1st baby took 3 years, born when I was 35. 2nd pregnancy 2 months of not trying but ended at 10 weeks. Currently on 3rd cycle of trying ✌🏽🌈

At 28, 6 months. At 30, one time.
