OPK’s - does this look okay?

I posted this on my old thread asking how to use OPK’s but it hasn’t been posted on for a couple of weeks so opening a new thread here to ask my follow up question. This is my first time testing ovulation and just wondered if this is looking right? I mean the levels are definitely going up but should it be rising this slow? Or is that completely normal? Just as a bit of context I started testing yesterday (first day after period). I understand it’s only been 24hrs since my first test so I’m probably overthinking it lol. X

Hi @katie416 this looks totally normal, actually they're higher than mine would be around those cycle days. As you get close to predicted fertile window start testing twice a day, not in the morning.. maybe lunchtime and eve ing if you can. It's so easy to miss the surge but you should definitely see it start to rise more. If you're a 28 day cycle it'll prob be around day 14. Best of luck 🤞

@Sez281 Thank you for your reply that’s really reassuring. However I’ve just taken another test and it’s the lowest I’ve got so far at 0.15 so can’t understand why that could be 🤔x

@katie416 don't test so much just after AF you'll only drive yourself mad (the only reason I started early is because I had CP last cycle so don't have a clue when I'll ovulate) I've attached my pic so you can see how normal it is to fluctuate throughout the day, I've only started to increase to .22 today as I'm on cd13. I don't expect a proper jump for a few days. Just keep doing what you're doing but honestly don't worry xx

I started testing after AF as it’s my first time testing so didn’t know when was best to do it but you’re so right I wish I’d waited a few more days as it’s sending me insane already and I have a few days to go yet as I usually have around a 29 day cycle 😂 it’s not driving me up the wall as bad as the TWW does though haha xx

@katie416 oh I totally get it, just be careful cos it can become quite an addiction. I became obsessive about it last month 🥴 The opks are great for having an idea but listen to your body too. My fertile window is usually days 9-14 but with the CP the app is telling me it's 14-19 this cycle. I really feel with the twinges and CM that I'm getting when wiping that I'm already in it so although I'm still testing I'm listening to my body and dtd every 2 days anyway to cover all bases. This isn't even the hard bit. As you say the tww is torture 🙈

@katie416 Sez gave some great advice! Just sharing mine so you can see another example. Mine are usually very low, then rise a teeny amount the day before peak, then jump a bit more late morning day of peak and then peak that evening. Typically mine then drop quite rapidly next morning. Obviously everyone is a bit different but thought it might be helpful to see the full ovulation pattern. Good luck!
