Spotting 2 days before period.. advice needed

I have just had spotting, I am due my AF on Monday.. I never get spotting before I get AF but just had it now.
I have two DC already and never had spotting with them, is this a good sign for pregnancy? I think I’m 12 or 13 Dpo but also did a test and it BFN
Has anyone had a BFN and then had spotting and then went on to have a BFP? X

In a similar position except my AF is due Tuesday and this is my first. Been consistently getting bfn so think I’m out for the month but considering I haven’t spotted yet at all it made me wonder.

cant take more disappointment so I’ll wait to test only if AF doesn’t arrive

Its a strange one thats fro sure. I have had period pains this afternoon but both those and the spotting have stopped this evening.

Still getting BFN's on easy at home tests so guessing my period will just come tomorrow, right on time. 🤨
