Positive ovulation test today, back in the TWW ttc no2.

Hi! Hope its okay for me to join, first cycle properly trying and the first month I have got a positive OPK last night & this morning, I also had pain this morning like a cramping/stitch feeling which I think may have been ovulation? So I will count tomorrow as 1DPO, so about to start my first TWW!😬

can anyone tell me if they also have pains like this during ovulation? I did have some issues with cysts on 1 ovary when I was a teenager, so I am slightly worried that this pain during ovulation could be a sign that I may have something going on there again. And I’m terrified to start googling as I know I’ll drive myself mad!

It's very normal! I was actually woken up with quite sharp pain on the day I think I ovulated and I've been cramping all month. I've only just come off of the pill so I do wonder if it's related to that.

That does make sense! I was trying to add one extra day to make testing day come sooner!!!! 🤪
So the TWW is officially when time goes so slow it goes backwards?!?

I'm also in the TWW- it's my first one and I'm already hating every minute 🙈 I'm overthinking every little symptom and googling all sorts. I think I need to try and distract myself as I'm only 4DPO and I'm gunna drive myself mad! It hasn't helped that I got a sore throat and runny/stuffy nose right after ovulation so my body feels different from illness.

Let's hope these next few days fly by 🤞🏻✨

Is anyone here using the clearblue ovulation monitor? I'm 11 DPO and all I want to do is test but the only tests I have are the ones for the monitor and the bloody thing won't let me do it🥲😂 anyone have any ideas on when it let's you test? Driving me crazy haha

Also I can definitely see a faint line there @Ladybar !🤞 Have you managed to test again today?

Why won't it let you do it?I thought they only stayed solid smile for 48 hours. What is the screen saying?

I'm joining you all. We need ivf and have had a failed ivf cycle but have been told a natural pregnancy isn't completely impossible just v v v unlikely. I've decided to start tracking just to see. So now waiting to see what happens. It's crazy how even though you know it is so unlikely you symptom spot

@Kikii93 hey! I did manage to test again today but still ever so confused!!! Strip test this morning came up with another very faint line but no progression so starting to think they’ve potentially just been crap tests. Did a pink dye early test from Home Bargains this afternoon and very negative…. But a very positive OPK and a load of EWCM today too! So I’m now wondering whether the strip tests have been evaps (meant I was also very unlucky on a CB test as well as that also showed a line) and I’m just ovulating now but I’m pretty sure I ovulated on CD15 so god knows! DH was happy we could go again even though I wasn’t so much! 🤣🤣🤣

First TWW and wondering, does everyone wait until the full 2 weeks is done before testing? I’m literally going to wait until 13dpo before I even buy any tests I think as I know if I have them in the house I’ll be taking them sooner!🤣

That's the idea but oh the temptation to POAS is soooo tempting!
I. AM. Going to wait till 14 days because I want DP with me and hopefully a definite answer! He won't play spot the line with me!!!
This will be be our last time so trying to make every moment a memory!

@jenn88 I posted that this morning and am now sitting online googling early response tests🤣 1DPO and my first TWW I have lost the plot! That would be lovely if you and DP can find out together!

I’m away with work for 3 days next week and then DP is away with work the weekend, so if I can stay busy and hold out until he comes back I’d be 10DPO!

I’m so glad I found this site because I find it so hard keeping all of these feelings to myself, but also I don’t want to speak to my family/friends about it because of the inevitable added pressure that would bring of others knowing we are trying!

It's bizarre the temptation to know if your are or are not pregnant!
I treat the TTW as if I was pregnant, limiting coffee, no drinking and taking vitamins! DP thinks I've lost the plot!

I'm not waiting! I don't have the will power. I bought cheap test strips on Amazon and now it just gives me an excuse to test earlier, even though I know it'll almost certainly be positive even if I was pregnant because it's too early. Almost.

Finding this TWW so hard!!! I'm only 6dpo on my first cycle and I don't know how I'm gunna cope doing this every month 🙈 just an anxious person! I've been having constant abdominal discomfort/cramps since ovulation and I'm not sure if they're normal for me & I'm just hyper aware of them this month or if it's a sign of something else. Wishing the time away to know for sure!

@Disneydreams26 I completely get how you feel, this is our second of trying ‘properly’, and last month I was over analysing every twinge. Obviously I wasn’t pregnant and now I am 7DPO and having all the same symptoms as last month but not reading into it as clearly there just my
body deals with the luteal hormones.

@Disneydreams26 just as a voice with a bit more experience (don't mean it in a patronising way, just have been through quite a few twws!) - craps and twinges before 6dpo are likely to be random as implantation wouldn't happen that early. But of course doesn't mean at all that you aren't pregnant! The two times it has been a pregnancy for me, the clear signs and symptoms have been from around 8dpo, although there were possible hints earlier but which are also things I sometimes get anyway (spottier skin, bit more cm)

I meant even though it will almost certainly be NEGATIVE even if pregnant because it's too early. Typo!!!!

I finally tested on Thursday (11dpo) and got a BFN and had cramping yesterday so thought AF would show up but tested again today and all tests came back positive! :) only 2 days before AF did it come up positive so don't lose hope if you get those early BFN! Hopefully this will be a lucky thread, hope to see some more positive tests here! 🤞 x

Hi, can I join? I'm 1DPO I think.
Second month trying for 2nd baby.

With my first I had 2 miscarriages so actually got pregnant 3 times. Amazingly I got pregnant first cycle of trying every time. (Really lucky at getting pregnant, not so good at staying pregnant. Then had HG with my baby so in and out of hospital.)

Was disappointed to break my streak last month and not get pregnant so this is my first month actually testing for ovulation.

7dpo today, took a test just now! Why!!!! Obviously negative!! I wasn't going to and I just sat down and did one with no pre thought!
So silly!!
