Blood Test results.

So I got blood tests done on Friday - think they are called 21 day tests.
The receptionist from the doctors rang me today with my results; he went through them all individually and they are all ‘normal’
I asked him, could he tell me which one confirms I’ve ovulated this cycle & he had no clue and that a letter has been sent out.
so I’m hoping it gives a breakdown of each test.

does anyone know which test would have been done to confirm ovulation? Like the name of it or anything? He told me I would have to make a doctors appointment to ask the doctor that question and trust me it was hard enough to get a doctors appointment last week never mind one to just ask a question 🙈

sorry if this is a silly question but I feel like I wasn’t given enough information on the bloods I was getting done or what was being tested for.

@moosey89 thank you, he read that many out on the phone but I think he did read that out and said 'normal' so I'm wondering does that mean I ovulated. It was mainly what I wanted to know.

Yeah if he said that was normal, that's usually a sign you ovulated. The only other way to check would be an internal ultrasound scan which shows if you've ovulated (and which side you ovulated from) x

I would ask to see your blood test results to see the ratios. Doctors look for anything that is highlighted as this will be out of the normal clinical range. But you can have numbers that are out of balance and this can impact fertility.

For example you can have borderline low progesterone but still in the normal range and high estrogen but still in the normal range but together means that it's possible you're not ovulating properly and likely won't conceive easily even though they are "normal".

If you get the results bring them to a nutritionist who works with hormonal health and they can help you get them back in balance..

Thanks for the replies @LMNT @moosey89 I’m just waiting for the letter to arrive to see if it gives me a breakdown first.
if there’s no breakdown I’m going to ring and ask for the breakdown to be sent to me and given over the phone to see if I have ovulated etc.
