Clear blue ovulation test

Hi all.

Very new at TTC so forgive me if anything I say is stupid! I came off the pill in April and we were just seeing what happened, waiting for me to get my cycle back etc. I still haven’t got a ‘regular’ cycle as such, it’s around 41 days long at the moment. I’m trying to take it a bit more serious now so bought the clearblue advanced ovulation tests (purple ones) I had some blank circles for about 4 days and then had flashing smiles for 6 days. Today I needed to start a new box and it’s gone back to a blank circle. I feel a bit deflated by the whole thing. Should I have carried on using the old reader? I just used the new reader that came in the new box I opened today. Should I test again with the new reader, old reader or just not bother?!

Any tips would be great! Thanks xx

the new reader will always show a blank circle for the first time to get a baseline reader! I used the old reader for about 3 months until I got a symbol that said to change! So I would keep using your old reader with the new pack of sticks! 😊

Oh perfect, thank you! Even my old reader is showing a blank circle this morning. Would that do that if I haven't used it for one day? Or am I just back to a blank circle? Never had the solid smile which is disheartening!

Fingers crossed for next month 😊 x
