When did I ovulate? Bbt says BEFORE peak

I'm so confused how to read my bbt. My chart is saying my ovulation day was before I even had my peak

You've missed a day of temping and it's cross hairs estimation of ovulation so it's more likely it was the day of or after your peak. Good luck 🤞🏻

I would say the Thursday the day of the peak and missed temp.

Could force it and put a low temp in that day?

I find BBT is great as a guide (especially when you're also using OPKs and looking at cervical mucus - all three work together to help you see a pattern), but it's not 100% reliable. I'd be inclined to trust the OPK followed by the subsequent rise in temperature.

Do you follow the golden rules for BBT tracking (decent nights sleep, take temperature at a consistent time and as soon as you wake)? These things can all influence the readings.

Temp for Thursday was 35.63. I'd just forgotten to put it in the app

Just took a second look and spotted the triangles on your chart... which mean readings were taken earlier/later than usual. This can cause BBT chart inaccuracy!

Thanks ladies. II've been charting for 3 months my temp shoots up above 36.20 + the day after peak usually so this is why I've been concerned maybe I didn't ovulate until Sunday as its much lower temp than usual and only got to my normal post ovulation temp on Monday

@Poppins2016 they were taken same time. I've had a look and I've accidentally put in pm instead of am for those days

Now you've put the kissed reading in has it moved O to the 20th?
