Hi,

im really looking for some advice/experiences or just anything really! I have really long cycles (usually about 40-45 days) and usually ovulate about day 30 but I haven’t had anywhere near a positive ovulation test this month and on Friday (cycle day 30) I start spotting pink/brown. It has since turned slightly heavier and occasionally red (more so when I strain when going to the toilet or just after I wake up - sorry TMI!) would this be the start of a new cycle and I just didn’t ovulate this month which is why it’s lighter? Or am I still in the same cycle? This will be day 3/4 of spotting/bleeding. Would really appreciate any advice!

Have you tracked ovulation through the month? You may have ovulated earlier this month x

Yes I’ve been tracking since day 9 and twice a day so I’m pretty sure I would’ve come across it! Do I start my cycle from the beginning now even though I haven’t ovulated and it’s really light?

I would keep up the testing tbh. If the bleeding is very light and doesn't resemble your period then best to keep tracking just incase. I know some people can get anovulatory cycles but if that's not normal for you then maybe your getting ready to ovulate just abit later this cycle. Opks can jump from very light to a peak within hours soninwojldnt look into the strength of previous tests X

Yes I will do! Just tested again and it’s still very low only coming out as 0.25 on the Premom app x
